book review on einstein's underpants and how they saved the world

I read a book by Anthony McGowan called Einstein's underpants and how they saved the world.

It was about a boy named Alexander who forms a team to battle evil borgia life forms. He puts Einstein's underpants on his head and knows everything! He and his team end up on borgia spaceship and attempts a daring escape. It is a good book for boys and girls 8-13.

Presents,candy,stars and joy,
for all the little girls and boys.
We all get lots and lots of toys.

But that's not what it's all about.
Let us be good enough to shout,
Jesus is coming! Praise the Lord!
Always worship god.

Chocolate Truffles

For Fathers day, I made Chocolate Truffles. First I got out the ingredients. After that I chopped the butter and the chocolate.

Next I warmed the cream at medium heat on the stove. Then I added the butter and the chocolate to the cream and took it off the stove.

In 15 mins I put the vanilla in and put the mixture in the fridge. In 4 hours Mum scooped the truffles and I shaped them, coated them and put them into the bowl.

They are Delicious!!!

The first thing I ever cooked by myself

The first thing I ever cooked by myself was Ice-cream sandwiches. First I got out the ingredients for making the cookies. Then I combined the glucose syrup, the butter and the chocolate together.

After that I put that on the stove. Next I started mixing the bicarb soda, the flour and the salt.

Then I combined the two mixtures together and added a egg and some sugar and put it on the baking tray.

Next mum put it in the oven. When they were ready, mum took them out of the oven.

Then mum put the ice-cream in side the cookies and we ate some. They were YUM!!!

About me

Hi, I am 8 years old.I live in Australia Victoria. On my blog, I will call myself Rose (even though it is not my real name). I am mostly going to blog about cooking and books. My mum is Kathy from Play Eat Learn Live. She knows I have this blog!

I chose the blog name Magic Ballerina because my favourite books are Magic Ballerina books by Darcey Bussell.
